The Muddobber’s Motorcycle Club had a fun day at the Prairie Creek Reservoir in Muncie.
Thank you Rick Replogle for the great picture!
Club members have been hard at work to make this weekend’s enduro another great one. There will be 2 loops, each about 30 miles long, coming back to the start for gas. A few river crossings and less than 2 miles of road, along with a great weather forecast…what more could we ask for.
We are using a new scorekeeping system so, if you are planning to ride the enduro, take a few minutes to get online and set up your Livelaps account. Be sure to select the Appalacian Series. It will save a lot of time at signup. You can also register and pay for the event at that same website up until Saturday.
.
Pre-Entry will start on September 1st. Go to https://www.livelaps.com and click on the Appalachian Series.

District 14 has made this announcement:
Just found out that due to some land issues, the Turkey Creek Enduro this year will be run as a dual-sport event, and not a D14 points paying race.
The New Paris area has experienced a lot of population and residential building growth over the past few years, which has made it increasingly harder for the club to string together the land necessary to put on a quality enduro.
The club will still be hosting the popular Turkey Gobbler Family Enduro on Saturday, with the dual-sport event running on Sunday, using a lot of the great single-trail we’ve grown to love.
The club is also committed to working with new and current landowners so that they can host the enduro again in 2017.
Look for the club’s dual-sport flyer later this week, but I wanted to give everyone a heads up so that they can plan out the rest of the season accordingly.
This gives us a total of 8 races this season, so we will be counting the best 6 races for points (drop 2).
Our Dual Sport on 7-31- 2016 looks to be a great fun ride for all. The first loop will go north and will be about 59 miles long. If you can’t go that far on a tank, the course is within a 1/2 mile of 4 Gas Stations. For those riders on 2-strokes, don’t forget to take money and oil. At the end of the first loop we will have lunch and you can gas up.
The second loop is 27 mile long with over 20 mile of woods trail, then back to the bridge with a good chance for a door prize.

These Muddobber Club members had a great day at the Knuckle Buster Enduro. Look at all the 1st place trophies! And Chris Christman with an Overall B!!

The Club has lucked out on the weather the last 2 days, this morning I dumped out a 1/2 inch of rain that was for Tues. and Wed. The trails were just a little wet this morning, after it dries today and Friday, we think the trails will be fantastic come Saturday morning.
The course will still be a loop north first at 15.8 mile, then back to the Covered Bridge for gas and lunch then south at 1:00 pm for the second loop at 18 mile and end up back at bridge.
We will have a concession Trailer on the grounds for Saturday.
The address at the Bridge is: 11245 S 990 E Matthews, IN
the GPS is 4023.415 N 8529.057 W

On the way home from the Loose Moose enduro in Marquette MI, the guys stopped to admire the Mackinac Bridge. Here is a cool pic of Muddobber Club member Greg Nottingham. It looks like his shirt is pointing to the bridge. Look at that clear blue sky!
